Close to the Heart

‍Back in 2019, my girlfriend (now wife) and I finally took our long-awaited trip to the country we had both adored since our youth—Japan. And you know what? It didn’t disappoint.

Every corner, every nook and cranny, every tiny detail—Japan has a way of making the ordinary feel extraordinary. The impossibly blue skies that make any photo look stunning, the people, the sense of safety, the culture, the aesthetics—nothing quite compares. Maybe we’re biased, but no other trip has ever felt quite like this one.

What made it even more special was the moment I decided to propose. A country I had always dreamt of visiting became the perfect setting to take our relationship to the next chapter. Japan will always hold a special place in my heart, not just for its beauty but for the memories we created there.
